newsletters you need

I don’t subscribe by email to very much … my inbox is full enough without adding daily and weekly updates from this company, person, service, etc.  However, I have found a few newsletters that are excellent sources of information and wanted to share them with others who might find them useful.

My friend Kathy Howard, an author with New Hope Publishing, recommended Rob Eager’s Monday Marketing Newsletter to me a few months ago.  I have gleaned an incredible amount of knowledge and practical advice from this weekly email.  I highly recommend subscribing, especially if you are seeking book publication or insight into promoting your own self-published works.  Subscribe on Rob’s website, WildFire Marketing.  You will be glad you did!

Hubspot is another great resource.  In the past month, I have downloaded guides from them on using Google+ and the Facebook Timeline for Pages.  Both of the ebooks offer great insights into leveraging these two social media tools.  Hubspot also offers paid services to improve your marketing and SEO.

Jeff Goins is one of our favorite writers and writer-encouragers.  If you haven’t checked out his latest project, Tribe Writers, you should.  (Like NOW!)  And while you are perusing the site and getting excited about signing up for the course he’ll be offering, go ahead and sign up for his Tribe Writers newsletter for ongoing tips, suggestions, and encouragement as you hone your skills.

What newsletters do you receive that you find most useful in improving your skills as a writer and blogger?
